离子通道钻井技术是一种利用高电压脉冲能量发生器装置产生高能等离子体形成的等离子通道破碎岩石,实现钻井的新技术。主要介绍了等离子通道钻井技术的高压脉冲液相放电击穿岩石的基本原理,英国斯特拉斯克莱德大学I.V.Timoshkin等人设计的室内试验系统、试验情况,以及瑞士联邦理工学院电力电子系统试验室的J.Biela等人于2009年研发的固态调制器的原理及优势,并对进一步研究等离子通道钻井技术提出了建议,以期为提高钻井速度、降低钻井成本提供一种可行的思路和方法。
Plasma channel drilling is a new drilling technology that makes use of the plasma channel to produce pulsed high-voltage discharge inside the rock and break it ahead of the drill bit.The basic principle is to break rocks with the pulsed high-voltage discharge in liquid media.The experimental system designed by I.V.Timoshkin et al.from the University of Strathclyde,the testing results of plasma channel drilling technology as well as the principle and advantages of the Solid State Modulator developed in 2009 by J.Biela et al.from the Power Electronic Systems Laboratory are presented in this paper,the suggestion for further research of the new drilling technology was put forward to provide a novel idea and method for improving drilling rate and reducing cost.
