北部湾涠西探区浅层地质研究程度不高,不利于今后进一步勘探和工程活动的开展。此文依据已完成井场调查资料,结合前人区域研究成果,对该区浅部地层进行工程地质和层序划分,初步建立了浅层地质结构。在海底以下40 m深度范围内,地层岩性从上至下分别为淤泥质黏土层、硬黏土层、含砾砂质层、黏土层和砂质层,形成时代分别为全新世和更新世晚、中、早期。
The shallow geological research of Weixi exploration area in Beibu Gulf is of low degree, which is not conducive to further exploration and engineering activities in the future. In this paper, based on the well site survey data and regional research results of predecessors, the engineering geology and sequences of the shallow strata in this area are divided, and the shallow geological structure is preliminarily established. Within the depth of 40 m below the sea floor, the lithology of the strata is silty clay layer, hard clay layer, gravel sandy layer, clay layer and sandy layer from top to bottom, and the formation ages are respectively Holocene and late, middle and early Pleistocene.
