井涌余量是衡量钻井过程中处理溢流能力的一个指标,在井身结构设计、安全钻进及井控作业中有着非常重要的作用。但由于受到侵入流体性质、套管鞋承压能力等多种因素的影响,井涌余量定义与计算方法不统一,直接影响了井身结构设计的合理性与井控过程的安全性。此文基于连续气柱理论与司钻法压井作业程序,综合考虑实际井控过程中溢流强度与钻具尺寸两个因素的影响,对井涌余量的定义及计算模型进行了修正,从而得出更准确的井涌余量计算方法,为钻井设计和现场安全井控作业提供了理论依据。应用南海某口已钻井数据,验证了修正后的计算模型可有效提高井涌余量计算精度,并分析了溢流深度、钻井液密度等因素对井涌余量的影响规律,分析了井涌余量对单开裸眼段钻井长度的影响。
Kick tolerance is an indicator of evaluating the ability to deal with kick during drilling. It plays a very important role in casing program design, drilling and well control operation.However,due to the influence of multiple factors, such as fluids properties, the pressure capacity of casing shoe, the definition and calculation method are not uniform, which directly affects the rationality of well structure design and the safety of well control process. In this paper, based on the theory of continuous gas column and the well killing program of driller's method, and by taking into account kick intensity and drill tools size, the definition and computing model of kick tolerance are modified.The modified model can effectively improve the computational accuracy of the kick tolerance, and provides a guarantee for safe and fast drilling. The modified model has been used in a well in the south China sea. The result shows that the modified model can further improve the calculation accuracy of kick tolerance. Based on the drilling data of the well, the affects law of well depth and mud density on the kick tolerance are figured out and the influences of the kick tolerance on the drilling length of single open hole are also analyzed.
