前人研究认为塔里木盆地中西部下寒武统盐下主力烃源岩为玉尔吐斯组泥质烃源岩,但对肖尔布拉克组碳酸盐岩作为烃源岩的可能性甚少提及。本文通过野外露头和钻井岩心观察,结合岩石热解分析,证实肖尔布拉克组泻湖相碳酸盐岩横向分布更稳定,厚度更大,同样具备较高的有机碳含量和较好的有机质类型,且成熟度高,亦可作为下寒武统盐下主力烃源岩。
The mudstones of lower Cambrian Yuertus Formation in the central and western part of Tarim Basin have been regarded as the major source rocks,with little consideration to the carbonate rocks of Xiaoerbruk Formation.However,the observation of field outcrops and drilling cores,together with the data of pyrolysis analysis,demonstrates the lagoon facies carbonate rocks of Xiaoerbruk Formation is also one of the major Cambrian pre-salt source rocks by the facts that it is more stable in the lateral distribution,thicker,relatively high content of organic matter,advantageous type of organic matter as well as high maturity.
