Abstract
In this paper,the requirements of chemical water plugging in high temperature and high salt reservoir and the modified method of the ordinary plugging agents were probed,and the research advances and the field application of the high temperature resistant and high salinity tolerant plugging agents was reviewed,including polymer gel,preformed gel particles,salt precipitation and polymer microsphere,which are appropriate for high temperature and high salinity reservoir.In addition,the problems still existing in research and application were mentioned.
