Aiming at the problem of high water cut in horizontal wells of Bohai Oilfield, taking one typical high water-cut oilfield as an example, the single well water cut curve method was used to study the regularity and key influencing factors of horizontal wells in Bohai Oilfield by the statistics of 121 horizontal production wells. The results show that the water production law of horizontal wells in Bohai Oilfield can be divided into four types: S type, concave type, convex type and straight type, and convex type is the main type. Based on the factors of geological reservoir, engineering and production, which affect water production, grey relational analysis method was used to analyze the importance degree of key influencing factors such as water avoidance height, permeability ratio, oil-water viscosity ratio, fluid producing intensity and horizontal section length. Considering the influence of data processing methods, the main controlling factors and causes of different types of wells were clarified. The research results can guide the water control design of new wells, and provide basis for the study of stabilizing oil and controlling water in horizontal wells. It has an important significance for further improving the development effect of horizontal wells.
