Energy replenishment time considering rock compressibility stress sensitivity

AR低渗透油田的岩石压缩系数应力敏感显著。但是,目前没有同时考虑启动压力梯度和岩石压缩系数应力敏感的能量补充时机的油藏工程计算方法。因此,文中通过室内物理实验研究了AR油田的岩石压缩系数应力敏感特征,将岩石压缩系数随着地层压力变化和地层压力分布差异而不同的特性考虑在内,建立了一种新的低渗透油田的能量补充时机计算方法。研究表明:当不同岩心的压缩系数应力敏感程度相同时,初始岩石压缩系数越大,弹性驱开发过程中的平均岩石压缩系数越大,因此地层压力消耗速度越慢,弹性驱采收率越高,需要补充能量的时间越晚;当不同岩心的初始压缩系数相同时,应力敏感程度越严重,压力消耗越快,弹性驱开发过程的平均压力越低,导致弹性驱采收率越低,需要补充能量的时间越早。AR油田在考虑岩石压缩系数应力敏感影响时的能量补充时间为83 d,较不考虑岩石压缩系数应力敏感时补充能量的时间大幅度提前。
The rock compressibility stress sensitivity (RCSS) of low permeability oil reservoir in AR oilfield is obvious. However, there is not a reservoir engineering method which can consider threshold pressure gradient and RCSS at the same time. Therefore, RCSS characteristics of AR field are studied in this paper by laboratory physics experiment. Since rock compressibility changes when formation pressure changes or formation pressure distribution is different, this paper builds a new method to calculate energy replenishment time. The research shows that with the same RCSS, the larger the original rock compressibility, the larger the average rock compressibility, the longer the time of formation pressure depletion, the higher the recovery, the longer the energy replenish time. With the same rock compressibility, the larger the RCSS, the shorter the time of formation pressure depletion, the lower the recovery, the shorter the energy replenish time. Taking RCSS into account, AR field′s energy replenish time is 83 days. Compared to the case which does not take RCSS into account, energy replenishment time becomes shorter greatly.
