Abstract
According to the characteristics of high temperature and high pressure offshore reservoir in a low porosity and low permeability gas formation, based on the analysis of reservoir petrological characteristics, physical properties and temperature and pressure characteristics, the sensitivity and water lock damage evaluation experiments of high temperature and high pressure reservoir were carried out, and the results were compared with those of conventional sensitivity experiments. The results show that the reservoirs are characterized by moderate to moderate velocity sensitivity, moderate to weak water sensitivity, weak alkali sensitivity, weak to moderate hydrochloric acid sensitivity, weak to moderate soil acidity sensitivity, and weak to strong stress sensitivity. Comparing with the conventional sensitivity test results, the damage degree of reservoir sensitivity is aggravated to varying degrees under high temperature and high pressure conditions except alkali sensitivity. The results of high temperature and high pressure water lock damage evaluation show that there is a strong water lock damage phenomenon in the reservoir, and the lower the porosity and permeability of the core, the more serious the water lock damage. Based on the above research results, the main factors of reservoir damage in target gas reservoir are found out, which provides a theoretical basis for efficient and reasonable development of this kind of gas reservoir.
