柴西新生代构造变形时期与强度定量表征

Quantitative characterization of Cenozoic structure deformation period and intensity of western Qaidam Basin

柴达木盆地西部地区(简称柴西地区)背斜构造分布广泛,其形成时期与构造变形强度对油气勘探具有重要意义。文中利用生长地层厚度变化率这一参数来定量表征柴西地区新生代构造变形的时期与强度。研究结果表明:柴西地区新生代构造变形整体上具有北西向南东方向变新,南西向北东方向变新的规律;柴西地区构造变形强度整体上具有柴西南地区最强,柴西北次之,英雄岭构造带最弱的趋势;柴西新生代构造变形边界约束方面,阿尔金山构造带具有西强东弱的特征,东昆仑山和南祁连山双向不均衡挤压作用,也具有西强东弱的特征。
Anticline structures are widely distributed in the western Qaidam Basin, and their structure deformation period and intensity are of great significance for oil and gas exploration. In this paper, growth strata thickness variation rate is used to quantitatively characterize the period and intensity of the Cenozoic structure deformation in the western Qaidam Basin. Research results show that: the overall Cenozoic structure deformation in the western Qaidam Basin has a rule of becoming new from northwest to southeast and from southwest to northeast; there is a trend that the overall structure deformation intensity of the Southwest District in the western Qaidam Basin is the strongest, followed by the Northwest District, and Yingxiongling District is the weakest; on the Cenozoic structure deformation boundary in the western Qaidam Basin, Altun structural belt has the characteristics of being strong in the west but weak in the east. The two-direction imbalanced tectonic compression in eastern Kunlun Mountains and southern Qilian Mountains also has the characteristics of being strong in the west but weak in the east.
