Abstract
The phenomenon that good oil-bearing sandstones interbedded with poor oil-bearing or non-oil-bearing sandstones in the same sand body of a well widely exists in drilled wells in Huachi-Heshui Area. Based on the oiliness of reservoir determined by micro-fluorescence and in combination with the physical properties and mercury injection parameters, this paper studies the influence of physical property and pore throat structure on the oiliness of reservoir. The results show that reservoir physical property has a significant controlling role on the oiliness of reservoir. The reservoir with good physical property has good oiliness and the reservoir with poor physical property has poor oiliness, or free of oil. The oil saturation of reservoir increases linearly with the increase of reservoir porosity and increases exponential with the increase of reservoir permeability. The pore throat of the sample with good oiliness is big and the displacement pressure is low. Whereas the pore throat of the sample with poor oiliness is small. The size of pore throat determines whether the oil can enter into or not. The enrichment degree of oil is controlled by sorting. The oil saturation of reservoir is obviously influenced by the size of pore throat.
