Optimization on 3D trajectory of horizontal well by adding theoretical target

一个平台上有多口井,并常有三维井的存在。为了便于控制井眼轨迹,方便现场施工,要在井斜角到达70°之前就完成扭方位工作,因此,需要通过添加虚拟靶区的方法对井眼轨道进行优化。文中介绍了虚拟靶区的添加方法,并将常规剖面设计轨道与添加虚拟靶区之后的剖面轨道数据进行了对比。对比结果表明,添加虚拟靶区方法具有一定的优越性。该方法能有效控制井眼轨迹,不但有利于发现、找准油层,而且顺利避开了与邻井相碰的风险,实现了安全高效钻井。
There are many wells in one plateform, and usually there are three-dimension wells. In order to easily control well trajectory and drilling operation, correction run must be completed before hole deviation angle reaches to 70°. Thus, well trajectories are optimized by adding theoretical target. This paper introduces the adding theoretical target method and compares the design data of conventional well trajectory with that of theoretical target trajectory. The result shows that the superiority of theoretical target trajectory is obvious, which can effectively control well trajectory, discover and get the reservoir, avoid the risk of collision with adjacent wells and achieve safe and efficient drilling operation.
