Discussion on correlation between microscopic characteristics and hydrocarbon generation potential of source rocks in Liaodong Bay Area

基于烃源岩岩心标本和显微镜下特征分析,对辽东湾地区烃源岩岩石类型进行分类,并通过烃源岩岩石热解和干酪根热解气相色谱分析,探讨不同微观特征烃源岩生烃潜力的差异。研究表明:辽东湾地区发育的3套古近系断陷湖相泥质岩类烃源岩,岩石类型可划分为块状泥岩、钙质块状泥岩、纹层状泥岩和钙质纹层状泥岩4大类;分子结构中含有较多正构烷烃和正构烯烃的钙质纹层状泥质岩类的生烃潜力较高,而分子结构中含有较多芳烃、环烷烃等次峰的块状泥质岩类的生烃潜力较低。
Based on the characteristics analysis of bore specimen and microscope of rock core of source rock, this paper analyzes the rock types of hydrocarbon source rocks in Liaodong Bay Area. It also discusses the differences of hydrocarbon generation potential in the hydrocarbon source rocks with different microscopic characteristics through the pyrolysis gas chromatography analysis of thermolysis and kerogen of source rock. The results show that the three sets of Paleogene lacustrine source rocks in Liaodong Bay Area can be divided into four kinds: massive mudstone, calcareous massive mudstone, laminated mudstone and calcareous laminated mudstone. Among the four kinds of rocks above, the calcareous laminated mudstone with more n-alkanes and n-alkenes in molecular structure show the high hydrocarbon generation potential, and the massive mudstone with more aromatic hydrocarbon and cyclic alkanes subpeak in molecular structure present the low hydrocarbon generation potential.
