Comparison and review of estimating methods of oil and gas resources

油气资源是国计民生与社会发展的重要物质基础。油气资源量是利用不同评估方法,确定和预测的量化结果。评估方法的可靠性和准确性,会直接影响油气田开发、建设的投资成败与风险。文献调研表明,在油气资源量评估方法中,实用有效的方法很少,且存在许多含糊不清的突出技术问题,甚至存在错误的地方。这些问题的存在严重影响了方法的有效应用和评估结果。文中在综合研究不同评估方法的基础上,结合油藏工程方法的引入,提出了具有国际性、实用性和可操作性的评估方法,这些方法包括经验类比法、容积法、规模排序法、概率统计法、预测模型法和产量递减法;同时,对这些评估方法的使用阶段、使用范围和评估储量的级别进行了对比和评论,并提出了文献中存在的若干技术问题,与作者商榷。
The oil and gas resource is the important material foundation of national economy, people′s livelihood and social development. The amount of oil and gas resources is quantized result determined and predicted with different assessment methods. Its reliability and practicability will affect the investment risk of the oil and gas development and construction. As the literatures describe, in the estimating methods of oil and gas resources, there are only a few of methods which are practical and effective. There are many imprecise technical problems, even some wrong places. The existence of these problems will affect the effective application of the method and the reliability of the assessment results. In this paper, based on the research of the estimating methods and the introduction of reservoir engineering, methods of empirical analogy, volumetric, size rank-order, probabilistic, forecasting model and production decline are proposed, which are international, applicable and operable. At the same time, the methods are compared and commented in using stage and range and the level of estimated reserves. Some existing technical problems in the literatures are presented which need to be discussed with authors.
