Abstract
Ⅲ oil formation of H3 Layer of block 1 in Jinglou Oilfield has entered the middle and late development periods after years of cyclic steam development. The differences of reservoir heterogeneity make the remaining oil generally disperse, but locally enrich. This paper uses SPSS factor analysis method and determines the key parameters used to describe reservoir quality and geomtry. On the bases, it introduces the reservoir comprehensive evaluation index in order to give out a comprehensive and quantitative description for reservoir heterogeneity. The impact of reservoir heterogeneity on oilfield development is revealed. Studies show that the horizon with evaluation index more than 0.6 should be blocked to control the impact of steam channeling and initiate potential layers. The area with evaluation index of 0.3 to 0.7 has better geological conditions and low watering-cut, which is the main area for further tapping potential of remaining oil.
