Effect of thermal-surfactant combination flooding on EOR in heavy oil reservoir

通过室内实验和理论分析,研究了蒸汽-表面活性剂复合体系对岩石相渗特性的影响。加入表面活性剂可大幅度提高驱替相的毛细管数,从而提高驱油效率。在稠油热采添加表面活性剂复合驱过程中,内相体积分数的大小是影响生成的水包油型乳状液黏度和流变性的主要因素。在复合驱过程中,乳状液的作用主要体现在:生成的水包油型乳状液,通过乳化降黏、乳化携带剩余油滴来提高驱油效率;生成的乳化颗粒易在高渗带处滞留,从而改善了储层的非均质性,扩大了驱替相的波及体积。
Based on laboratory experiment and theoretical analysis, the influence of steam-surfactant combination system on relative permeability characteristics of rock is studied. Adding of surfactant can greatly enhance the capillary number of displacing phase, which improves the displacement efficiency. In the process of thermal-surfactant combination flooding in heavy oil reservoir, the concentration of internal phase is a main factor of affecting the viscosity and rheological property of generated oil-in-water emulsion. During the combination flooding, the functions of emulsion mainly reflect in two aspects. First, the generated oil-in-water emulsion can improve the displacement efficiency through emulsified visbreaking and emulsified carrying of residual oil droplet. Secondly, the generated emulsion particles are easy to stop at high permeability zone, which improves the heterogeneity of reservoir and enlarges the swept volume of displacing phase.
