A new lost circulation additive for drilling of high permeability formation

钻井过程中遇到低压或压力衰竭的高渗透地层,经常会发生严重的井漏,通常使用堵漏剂和注水泥塞来防止井漏。文中主要介绍了一种针对高渗透层或断裂层的钻井堵漏剂。该堵漏剂由粒状高炉矿渣、合成水分散纤维、浓缩硅粉微粒和工业分散剂、缓凝剂混合而成,可以在渗漏地层形成高强度非渗透性网状体系进行堵漏,特别是体系中的胶结组分(粒状高炉矿渣和硅粉混合而成)遇到Ca(OH)2时具有强的活性。对密度为1.4~1.6 g·cm-3(60 ℃)的钻井液进行了不同缝宽的封堵效率实验与流变性实验,结果表明:该堵漏剂在高渗透层能快速高效堵漏。钻屑污染实验也表明:该堵漏剂和不同钻井液体系具有良好的配伍性。
This paper presents a new lost circulation additive for high permeability formation or faulted bed drilling. The lost circulation additive compounds the granulated blast furnace slag, synthetic of aqueous dispersion fiber, fine particle of concentrated silica powder with commercial dispersant and retarder, which generates high intensity and impervious reticular system for plugging in absorbent formation. Especially the cement slurry with cementation component in the additive, which is blended with granulated blast furnace slag and silica powder, is of a strong activity when it encounters Ca(OH)2. The experiments of plugging efficiency
and rheological property are carried out for the cement slurry of density of 1.4-1.6 g.cm-3 (60 ℃) at different slot width. The study results demonstrate that the lost circulation additive can seal rapidly in high permeability formation. The pollution experiment also proves that the lost circulation additive has a good compatibility with different drilling fluid systems.
