Application and comparison of fractal model using capillary pressure curve

一些学者根据分形几何原理推导出了一些毛管压力曲线的分形模型,将压汞法测得的数据代入这些模型,就可以计算出分形维数,根据分形维数的数值可以定量描述岩样的非均质性程度。比较分析了2种毛管压力分形模型,并用油田岩样压汞法数据验证了计算出的结果。通过分析计算结果,发现分形维数值越大,地层非均质性就越严重,这个结论与定性描述岩样非均质性方法得到的结果一致。
Some researchers developed the methods to calculate fractal dimension using capillary pressure curve from mercury intrusion tests. Fractal dimension can be used to quantitatively describe the heterogeneity of rock sample. This paper compares two kinds of different fractal models and uses reservoir rocks mercury intrusion data to demonstrate the validity of the calculate results. Through the analysis, it is found that the larger the fractal dimension is, the more heterogeneous the reservoir rock is. This conclusion is in accord with the result obtained from the method of reservoir heterogeneity description
