Seismic facies is seism ic cells wh ich has certain
d istr ibu tion rang e, and it is the summ ation of m a in se ism ic
characteristics o f sedim entary facies in re flection section.
Guantao group of Q ingtuo zi heave is the po tentia l prospecting
area in Dongx in o ilfield, but the strata distribution and
sedim en tary fac ies have not been researched so far. The re is
few dr illing w e ll he re, ev en cor ing and logg ing inform ation is
much less. As a resu lt, sed im ent resea rch o f this area should
be based on the ex isting 3D seism ic data. Th is paper
summ ar izes sed im ent m ode o f Guantao group of Q ingtuozi
heav e through seism ic fac ies research, wh ich prov ides
gu idance for furthe r prospecting. A lso the work w e did can be
the use for re ference of seism ic fac ies resea rch in other
reg ions.
