The packer string w ith free m ov em ent is an im po rtant
type o f packer com pletion. The change o f pressure and
tem pera ture can m ake the packer str ing g et fo rce, wh ich
resu lts in deform ation. There fore , the ca lcu la tion on the
am ount of deform a tion is no t only an im po rtant work in force
analysis o f packer str ing , but a lso an im po rtant factor to
ensure the downho le ope ration. This paper analysis the
prob lem s on the force deform ation of th is packer string,
deduces the ca lcu lation equation o f fo rce deforma tion and
prov ides calculation ex am ples.
