It was often found that the pump effic iency o f the sucker rod pump ing we ll ( espec ia lly deep pum ping w ell) reduced obv ious ly after the pump had been inspected and pu t in to production noram lly ( 3 - 5days a fter the pump inspection genera lly) . The re are many factors to influence the pump efficiency, am ong wh ich the pump fullness coeffic ient is one of the m ain reasons. Through ana lyzing the force on the o il tube and sucke r rod o f the pum ping we l,l th is paper presents that the im pingem ent disp lacem ent of norm a l produc tion o f deep pump ing w e ll is longe r than that of we ll hand ing ove r wh ich influences the pum p e ffic iency by decreasing the pum p fullness coeffic ient because o f the change of the forces on the o il tube and sucker rod. The field applica tion result shows that the re- correction o f the im pingem ent d isp lacem ent im proves the pump effic iency afte r pum p inspecting and hand ing- over o f pum ping w el.l
