As a special reservoir, the reserving condition of igneous
reservoir is particular and strict. Taking the reservoir of
Oulituozi oil field in the east depression of Liaohe Basin as an
example, the paper analyses the necessary conditions of
forming igneous reservoir in aspects of the oil origin, the
migration, the reservoir property and the trap characteristics,
and also classifies the types of igneous reservoir. The
optimizing function of faults on forming igneous reservoir is
described especially. The result of the study is not only helpful
to the reservoir in this area, but also to the similar reservoirs in
other areas.
