Abstract
In the operating instruction for thickness delineation of
effective layer, first class reservoir and second class reservoir in
fluvial -dominated delta reservoir are divided using well electric
logging. All resistive layers are deducted as calcium layers
regardless of oil occurrence. From pressure coring data analysis of
Sazhong block in Daqing Oilfield, it can be seen that some resistive
interbeds, originally deducted, have oil occurrence. Comparing with
coring well, 5.7% of whole thickness can be classified as effective
thickness, 8.5% as sandstone reservoir thickness, 5.1% as useless
reservoir thickness. Among layers originally classified as calcium
layers according to former operating instruction, about 1.85 m of
sandstone, 1.6 m of effective thickness, 1.0 m of useless reservoir in
a single well by average is classified by mistake. So identification of
calcium layer and thickness delineation are essential. In this paper,
identification of calcium layer is the first work. Researching on the
electric property criterion of calcium layer and the thickness
delineation method is the second one. At last, calcium layer and
delineating its thickness are identified.
