To further ra ise the o il recovery effic iency o f the h igh tem pera ture and high sa lt reservo irs, the comb ined secondary and tertiary o il recove ry techniques are app lied in Pucheng O ilfie ld ( abb rev ia ted to 2 + 3 techn ique im prov ing o il recovery e fficiency). The 2+ 3 techn ique is lim ited to the tertiary o il recovery on the basis o f the full profile contro .l Th is artic le introduces the princ ip le o f the techn ique, the d ifferen tiated standards o f the full pro file con tro ,l the so lved prob lem s and the screening of the highe fficiency o il d isp lacement ag ents. A t the sam e tim e, the exper imenta l situation is introduced to the southe rn Pu4 block of the Upper S2 reservo ir im placem ented the technique. The pro file contro l w ith three tim es w as carr ied ou t by tak ing hydrochloric ac id w ater g lass, ca lcium chlor ide w ate r g lass, calc ium so il w ater g lass, calc ium so il cem ent and chrom ium ge l as the profile contro l agents. The o il d isp lacem ent agent s lug and the flu idity contro l slug we re put into subsequently and the w ater flood ing was resum ed fina lly.
