Explo ita tion o f the tenth distr ict, a fau lt - b lock o il
reservo ir w ith m edium perm eability, has deve loped into a
rap id dec line phase afte r 20 y ea rs o f ro lling exploration and
explo itation. The pape r pays further study o f the d istribution
law s of residua l o il based on the establishm ent of the sed im ent
system and the estim ation o f the exp lo itation effec t. It po ints
out the fact that residual o il g athers in the leaf face belt
betw een channe ls, area o f the struc ture high po int and the
upper part of the pos itive rhythm wh ich resu lted from the
reservo ir heterog ene ity, different intensity o f the liquid
production and g rav ity differentia l effect. Recovery fac to r has
increased by 3. 8% w ith the adoption of adjustm ent we l,l
sealing the wa ter- bear ing beds, perfection of production -
injection system and unstab le in jection, etc.
