Reservoir formation in Chepaizi region , northwest of
J unggar basin , has such characteristics as multiple source
rocks ,multiple production formations ,multiple reservoir types
and multiple reservoir formation periods. This paper defines
the contribution of each source rock by comparing their
geochemical parameters and defines which resource rock the
hydrocarbon come from by comparing the geochemical
characteristics of source rocks and hydrocarbon. Using fluid
inclusion data this paper also discusses the differences of
resevoir formation period in different tectonic zones and
defines the reservoir formation key time of different
group.Based on research of resource rock analysis , relation
analysis of hydrocarbon and source rock and definition of
migration period , accompanied with tectonic evolution and
subsidence , considering the contributing rate difference of
migration period , accompanied with tectonic evolution and
subsidence , considering the contributing rate difference of each
source rocks and the matching relation of reservoir formation
factors in different reservoir formation stages , the paper
constructed the reservoir formation model of the area.
