Accurate calculation of oil - beraing area of each
calculation unit is crucial to the accurate calculation is of
sanstone reservoir volume. Conbined with the experience of
reserves calculation of these years in Dongpu Depression and
the actual situation of oilfield development , and based with
unit division of resreves calculation ,the methods of contour of
oil pool delimitation and effective pay thickness obtainment
are studied. Invhis paper ,all methods of defining oil - bearing
area of structural layered pool and lithologic oil reservir are
analyzed and compared. And the characteristics and using
conditions of all hte methods of effcetive pay thickness
obtainment tnat are now often used in Dongpu Depression ,
for example ,arithmetical mean , thickness line area balance ,
approximate rael balance , wellblock area balance , are
summarized. In the end ,important and valuable suggestions
on how to select the proper methods of contour of oil pool
delimitation and effective pay thickness obtainment for
Dongpu Depression are offered.
