Petroleum Geologic Characteristics and the Exploration Strategy in Tazhong Low Uplif t of Tarim Basin

塔中低凸起古生界地层良好的烃源岩条件、盖层条件,优质的储集性能和成藏条件表明该地区有巨大的油气资源潜力。塔中Ⅰ、Ⅱ号断裂形成早,直接与寒武、奥陶系烃源岩相连,既是重要的油气运移通道又是改善储集层性能的主要因素。塔中低凸起的油气勘探应同时注重石炭系、志留系和中、下奥陶统;砂岩和碳酸盐岩油气藏并重。二叠系火山活动对塔中地区油气聚集不构成影响。沿塔中Ⅰ、Ⅱ号断裂构造带及塔中10 井构造带西北部是塔中地区最有利的勘探区域之一。寒武—奥陶系地层- 岩性圈闭原生油藏、与火成岩上拱和遮挡有关的圈闭也是塔中地区勘探的重要目标。
Paleozoic formation of Tazhong low uplift has good
source rocks and cap condition , favourable reservoirs and
condition for hydrocarbon accumulation and pooling. It shows
that Tazhong low uplift has huge resources potential for oil
and gas exploration. Tazhong No. 1 and No. 2 fault were
generated at early stage and connected with the Cambrian
and Ordovian source rocks. They are important pathways for
hydrocarbon migration and one of main factors improving the
quality of reservoir rocks. The hydrocarbon exploration in
Tazhong low uplift attaches importance to low Paleozoic
multi2targets such as S , O2 and O3 and pays attention to
sandstone pool and carbonite pool of carboniferous at the
same time. Block2buried hills along Tazhong No. 1 fault
should be important exploration targets. Northwest in
Tazhong 10 well zone of structures is the favourable
exploring area. The primary oil pools accumulating in the
stratigraphic or lithologic traps and those migrated to and
accumulation in the traps controlled by volcanic rock upper
bend and shelter are further exploration fields in the central
Tarim basin.
