The present situation of applications and study of drilling
fluid additives and drilling fluid technology are reviewed. Several
view for how to raise the level of drilling fluid additives and
drilling fluid system ,and the direction of exploitation for drilling
fluid additives and drilling fluid systemwas pointed out. The think
that the drilling fluid technology must transform to the drilling
fluid engineering , and form the engineering ultimately , increase
the total benefit and effect of drilling ,effectively protect the pool
and enhance the output of the oil well. The future development of
the drilling fluid additives and drilling fluid technology used for
Zhongyuan oilfield is discussed.
