在认识到速度参数对地震勘探开发研究工作有重要影响的情况下,对速度及其有关的问题进行了包括理论和实际应用等各方面比较深入的思考,探讨了地震波的各种速度的概念及之间的关系,以及在地震勘探开发研究的不同阶段和不同时期对速度参数的不同需求和对速度认识和理解的不断发展,对古生界潜山构造成图时的时深转换关系进行了针对实际应用的一些讨论,并在长堤潜山的构造分析中作了一些探索性的尝试,取得了较好的效果。

Realizing the important influence of velocity parameters on exploration and exploitation work , the velocity and related problems in theoretics and practical applications had been discussed , including various velocity concepts of seismic waves and their relationship , more ever and the varied demand to velocity parameter in different phases and periods of exploration and exploitation , so constantly development on its acquaintanceship and comprehend , then giving some discussion in allusion to practical application on time - depth conversion for Paleozoic in structure mapping , moreover some probing attempt in tectonic analysis about Changdi buried - hill , better effect were made.
