南堡凹陷内存在新生代明显的伸展构造和不明显的走滑构造系统。伸展构造和走滑构造是控制凹陷形成和演化的主体构造,由不同级别的伸展断层构成一系列大型铲式扇正断层系。南堡凹陷裂陷作用机制主要表现为主动裂陷,同时也有被动裂陷成分。裂陷动力学过程中共经历了5 次构造反转。
The formation and it s evolution of the Nanpu Depression were dominated by strongly extensional and slightly strike slip tectonics ,which consist s of a series of large scale listric fault systems formed by extensional fault s of different magnitudes. Active rifting was the main forming mechanism for the formation of the Nanpu Depression , although there existed passive rifting simultaneously. Based on the detailed geodynamic analysis , five tectonic inversion periods were identified within rifting history.
