Organic Geochemical Characteristics and Evaluation of the Eogene Source ocks in Sunhu- Qianmotou Area

孙虎—前磨头地区位于渤海湾盆地冀中坳陷东南角,其特殊的构造位置及演化特征决定了其对油气生成和保存并不十分有利。主要的油源层为沙三段和孔二段,局部地区沙四段具生烃能力。孔二段和沙四段有机质丰度低、类型差,尽管成熟度较高,但生烃潜力有限;沙三段有机质丰度相对较高、类型较好,但成熟度较低。烃源岩综合评价结果表明,该区勘探前景不佳。
Being located in the southeast corner of Jizhong depression of Bohai Gulf basin , Sunhu-Qianmotou area’s unique tectonic position and evolution feature determines it s negative influence on the hydrocarbon generation and preservation. The third member of Shahejie Formation ( Es3 ) and the second member of Kongdian formation ( Ek2) are the main source rocks. The fourth member of Shahejie Formation ( Es4 ) has ability to generate hydrocarbon in some local areas. The abundance of organic matter is low and it s types is unfavorable of the second member of Kongdian Formation ( Ek2 ) and the fourth member of Shahejie Formation ( Es4) . The potential of hydrocarbon-generating is limited even though the maturation is high. The source rock of the third member of Shahejie Formation ( Es3) has high abundance and favorable type of organic matter ,but the maturation is low. Evaluation of the source rocks illustrates that there is high risk of exploration in this areas.
