Large-diameter three-barrel coring technology on semi-submersible platforms

在半潜式平台进行取心作业时,取心效果除受传统因素影响外,平台的升沉会对取心参数尤其是钻压的控制带来极大的挑战,同时,取心过程中岩心也极易因平台升沉而被拔断从而对取心进尺造成影响。介绍了在半潜式平台成功应用大直径三筒取心技术的案例,通过对工具选型及工艺措施的严格控制,完成两趟大直径三筒取心作业,累计取心进尺55.3 m,平均取心收获率100%。文中总结分析了在半潜式平台进行作业时取心技术的难点和现场工艺的实施,形成了一套适应性较强的半潜式平台大直径三筒取心技术,包括取心过程中工艺参数的把控和割心时方法的选取以及出心方式的选择,实现了大直径三筒取心技术在半潜式平台的成功应用,为该区块的取心作业积累了经验。
When the coring operation is performed on a semi-submersible platform, not only the coring results are influenced by traditional factors, but the heave of the platform brings great challenges to the control of the coring parameters, especially the weight on bit. In addition, the core is also easily broken in the process of coring due to the platform' s heave, and consequently the coring footage is affected. A successful application case of large-diameter three-barrel coring technology on semi-submersible platforms was introduced. In this case, two large-diameter three-barrel coring operations are completed by controlling tool selection and process measures strictly. Its cumulative coring footage is 55.3 m and average coring rate is 100%. Then the difficulties of coring technology and the implementation of on-site processes during coring on the semi-submersible platform were analyzed systematically, and the large-diameter three-barrel coring technology highly suitable for semi-submersible platform was formed. This technology is mainly composed of the control of process parameters in the process of coring, the selection of core cutting methods, and the choice of core tripping out methods. In this way, the large-diameter three-barrel coring technology is successfully applied on the semi-submersible platform. And its successful application accumulates the experience for the coring operations in this block.
