Optimization of casing program and its application to CBM pinnate horizontal well

为了优质、快速、低成本地完成羽状水平井钻井作业,最大限度地提高羽状水平井单井产量,需要进行钻前井位优选及井身结构优化设计研究。结合沁水盆地南部地区地质特征,分析了影响羽状水平井单井产量的地质因素,指出了断层、陷落柱等破碎地层对煤层气开发和钻井工程的影响;同时,对羽状水平井的主要井身结构参数进行了数模优化,得到了2主支6分支井型的最优井身结构:主支夹角12~18°,主分支夹角39~50°,分支间距150 m,水平段进尺4500~5000 m。研究结果已在沁南煤层气开发中应用并取得较好的效果。
Pre-drilling optimization study of well site and casing program for CBM pinnate horizontal well could ensure rapid drilling and completion in low cost and production in high ratio. Based on the geologic characteristics of southern Qinshui Basin, this paper analyzes the influence factors: points out the influence of broken formation, such as fault, collapse column, especially. Also, this paper gives an optimal casing program after numerical simulation of the angle between main branches, of the angle between main branches and lateral branches, and of spacing between lateral branches. The result has been used in the development of Qinshui CBM field and good results are obtained.
