Abstract
The elastic modulus, Poisson ratio, S-P interval and other static rock mechanical parameters were obtained through the rock mechanical parametric experiments and acoustic experiments of the 100 drilling cores from 7 layers and 4 wells in Qunkuqiake Block of Tarim Basin. The matching model of rock S-P interval relationship can be derived from the results of the experiments. Combine with the static rock mechanical parameters obtained from logging data, the static rock mechanical parametric model of the Qunkuqiake Block can be derived. This provides accurate rock mechanical parameters for formation fracture pressure prediction in Qunkuqiake Block. When build up the forecast model of the formation fracture pressure in Qunkuqianke Block, a new model was developed for formation fracture pressure prediction on base of the fracturing mechanism. This new model has already been used on the formation fracture pressure prediction in Qunkuqiake Block, and it provides theoretical criterion for the proper selection of drilling fluid density.
