Abstract
To prevent rod and pipe deviation and wearing effectively, multiple side wearing resistant tools used in the past three years are evaluated from the perspectives of technical evaluation, application effect, ratio of performance to price, and quality assurance. Some tools with excellent application effect are selected in terms of structure, material, and quality, including bi-directional wearing re- sistant coupling, vane centralizer, and vitric lined pipe. Based on the mechanism analysis and countermeasures of deviation and wearing, in view of the deviated wells with high and low liquid loading, viscous oil, and high vax content, corresponding systematic measures are applied to the ield, fulilling effective treatment of short-period wells and providing effective measures for selecting optimum downhole tools in the future.
