为了适应国内水平井开发、利用的需要，研发具有自主知识产权的水平井井下工具，研究具有国际领先水平的Sondex水平井井下爬行器并结合国内实际情况加以改进，具有重大意义。介绍了国内在水平井测井新技术的发展和井下爬行工具开发的现状，分析了其不足之处和应用局限性。对Sondex水平井井下爬行工具的结构、工作原理、性能参数、控制系统的组成及实现以及驱动结构方式进行了分析，重点分析了井下爬行器的工作原理和牵引器的结构及相关性能参数，详细阐述了Sondex水平井井下爬行工具的特色和实际应用情况，为水平井井下爬行工具的设计和研制提供了技术支撑和一种新的思路。

To meet demands of exploiting the horizontal well, it is of great significance to develop downhole tools that possess independent intellectual property, study the Sondex downhole tractor in the international leading level and improve it according to domestic practice. This article first introduces the domestic development of new logging technology and downhole tractor for horizontal wells, analyzing the deficiency and limitation. The article continues to analyze the features of Sondex downhole tractor for horizontal wells including the structure, working principle, performance parameter, composition and realization of control system and driving mode, with emphasis on principle, structure and performance parameter. The article describes the characteristics and application of Sondex tractor in detail, which provides the technical support and a new idea for design and development of downhole tractor tool for horizontal wells.
