APPLICATIONS OF NITROGEN INJECTION IN OILFIELDS

近年来,国外油田已开始应用注氮代替注天然气和二氧化碳。许多油田,特别是在逆掩断层油藏中,正在大量注氮提高原油采收率。本文通过天然气、二氧化碳、氮气在现场注气压力下每立方米气体的成本、长期供气的可能性和可靠性、物理和化学特性、防腐和产出气体净化增加的成本及暴利税法影响的对比,得出采用氮气的相对优势。最后,列举了美国落基山地区四个大型项目的注氮情况和早期预测结果。
Nitrogen injection has recently been used in some foreign fields as an alternative of natural gas injection or carbon dioxide injection. Nitrogen injection being used to enhance oil recovery in many oilfields, particularly in overthrust fault. Based on the comparative analyses among natural gas,Carbon dioxide and nitrogen in factors such as the cost of per cubic meter at field injection pressure, the possibility and reliability of long-term supply, the physical and chemical properties, the incremental cost for corrosion prevention and produced gas clean-up, and the impact of the Windfall Profit Tax,this paper presents a relative advantage of nitrogen injection. At the end of paper,it covers the applications of nitrogen in four nitrogen injection projects in Rocky mountains and provides the reservoir parameters,nitrogen injection rate and some prodicted results.
