Abstract
Simulation experiment of coalification is carried out by the authors with Tertiary brown coal samples collected from Huangxian County,Shandong Province and Xindian County,Yunnan Province.In the end of different coalification stages,the average accumulative values of generated gaseous hydrocarbon corres-poding to each ton of residual coal are as follows:20m in fat and gas coal stages(=0.95%),105m in lean coal stage(=2.0%)and 398m in an-thracite stage(=4.0%).As the coalification goes on,the δC of methane and the content of CO increase continuously,but CO decreases instead.
