依据佛昙群烃源岩在镜质体反射率()为0.3%时,即可由树脂体、藻质体等形成不成熟的轻质油和天然气,从而在油气勘查中需考虑这部分资源量。佛昙地区处于新生代厦澎断坳的西部边缘,在断拗的主凹陷中有厚近5000m的第三系陆相一浅海相沉积,具有不成熟一高成熟油气的良好前景。

When the vitrinite reflectance of source rock in the Futan Group is 0.3%(),the resinite and alginite contained in the source rocks may form light crude oil and natural gas.This part of resource extent must be considered in oil and gas exploration.Futan area is located in the west margin of Cenozoic Xiamen-Penghu fault depression,and the major sag in the depression contains nearly 5000m thick Tertiary deposits of terrestrial-neritic factes.Thus Futan area possess good potential of immature-high mature oil and gas.
