THE APPLICATION OF DATA COMPRESSION TECHNIQUE TO SEISMIC PROSPECTING
摘要
本文介绍沃希变换和符号位检测在地震勘探中的应用.当前,各种数字地震仪都是把各次采样和各道间数据作为独立的、不相关的信息进行传输和记录,因而传输和记录了大量多余的信息.实际上,各次采样和各道间的数据都密切相关,可以将这些信号的数据进行压缩,以充分应用传输和记录信道,提高地震勘探的效率.目前,统计数学、数学技术和半导体技术的成就,已可以实现在检波器站上将数据压缩;在计算站上也有从压缩的数据中检出有用的信息恢复其本来面貌的能力.这就为研制数据压缩的地震仪创造了条件.
Abstract
This paper deals with the Walsh Transformation and sign bits checking as applied to seismic prospecting.At present, in all digital seismic instruments, each sampling and data of each channel are usually considered as independent, uncorrelated informations while trans mitting and recording, resulting in a large amount of trivial informations. As a matter of fact, each sampling and data between traces are closely related to each other. It is possible to compress the data in order to make full use of the transmitted and recorded traces and to raise the efficiency of seismic work.Recent advances in statistical mathematics, digital and semi-conductor techniques could be used to compress the data at the geophones and to restore the informations from the compressed data. This may provide a way for manufacturing data compression seimic instruments.
