摘要
在六十年代,有限元素法已成功地应用于给构力学的大型计算中,七十年代以来,此法已用于电磁波理论和弹性动力学的计算中.本文对有限元素法作了一个概括介绍,叙述了其理论基础、方法的实质.计算技术和此法的适用性,并将它与有限差分法作了比较.
Abstract
The finite difference method has been successfully applied to the large-scale computation of structural mechanics[1][2][3][4] ever since 60s. And it has been adopted to the computation of the theory of electromagnetic wave as well as elastic dynamics since 70s. A brief account on finite element method is made in this paper in which its theoretical basis, essence, computing technique and applicability are described. Also, the comparison between the finite element and finite difference methods are made.
