THE CONVOLUTION AND DECOMPOSITION OF SIGNAL AND ITS APPLICATION TO SEISMIC PROSPECTING

In this paper, a new concept-the convolution and decomposition of signal is put forward, its nature as well as the limited energy in particular are discussed. Moreover, certain examples illustrating the possibilities of applying the convolution and decomposition of signal to the seismic prospecting are given, such as to determine the deconvolution factors of zero-phase wavelet in time domain and to convert a signal to zero-phage signal by means of time domain method.
