Abstract
The topic of this paper is focused on the prospect of oil resources. It has been universally acknowledged among the circles of exploration geophysics that the seismic survey for oil promises well, the auther stated. Two major channels for broadening the oil discovery range are assumed e.g. to make detailed survey as well as detection from the old field discoveries and the 3rd time of recovering oil for bringing the potential into full play. The drilling method is not encouraged due to its uneconomi-calness however the seismic survey is suggested to fall back on.Moreover, a series of updating measures with respect to seismic technique used during 1980' are in imperative necessity. Presumably, the three dimensional areal survey in high density and high resolution would be the approach to be popularly accepted in the field work, the interpretation will be performed using the imaging technique and inverse approach based on wave equation theory. As a consequence, a 3-D model of litho-logical oil pool will be resulted from therein.
