SEISMIC STRATIGRAPHY STUDY OF THE MARINE BED IN TX DEPRESSION

TX坳陷是一个低探区。坳陷内的上白垩系——下第三系是一套浅海相地层,查明这套地层的范围、沉积环境和各种岩相分布,对油气勘探和预测是很有意义的。本区的勘探程度低,坳陷内还没有钻到这套地层的钻井。这项研究工作从了解构造背景入手,再利用边缘露头和钻井资料建立起沉积模式;同时,我们又根据反区域射层顶底不整一现象和反射波特征确定了地震层序和划分出地震相。然后,我们通过各地震相的地质解释,将地震相转换为沉积相。最后,文中指出了本区内油气储集较有利的相带。文中指出,由于各种因素的影响及地质解释已知条件的缺乏,所得成果是粗略的,推测性成分较多。但对勘探程度低的地区,这项工作仍很必要。
TX depression is such an area of low level exploration. In this depression, from the upper Cretaceous system to the lower Tertiary system is a set of neritic deposit. To find out their distributive sphere and their depositional environments and facies is of great significance for oil and gas exploration and prediction.The degree of exploration of the depression is very low and no well has reached the strata mentioned above. Work begins with trying to find out about the full particulars of the regional structure. After this has finished the following matters come after: to construct the sedimental model by the outcrops exposed in the border of the depression and the well data; to ascertain the seismic sequence and differentiate the seismic facies according to the discordance and the special features of the reflection horizons, then, bring about a geological interpretation for the seismic facies and make a seismic-geologic facies transformation.Facies zones beneficial to the accumulation of oil and gas were pointed out at the end of this paper.But owing to there are many effects caused by many different factors and because of the lack of information needed for interpretation, many of the views are nothing but conjecture and no final conclution has yet been reached. Though it is the case, some of the opinions might still be used for reference. For the regions with low level exploration, to make such a study seems to be very necessary all the same.
