A FURTHER DISCUSSION ON THE ACTUAL AMPLITUDE RECOVERING FOR “SIGN-BIT” SEISMIC ACQUISITION SYSTEM
摘要
文章[1]中, 我们用明确的数字论证了使用均匀概率密度(线性概率分布)的噪音, 只能在一个极窄的动态范围内使信号的真振幅得以恢复(即要求信噪比小于等于1)。这样的噪音显然对于动态范围高达120分贝的地震信号的真振幅恢复是无能为力的。本文的目的在于找到一个最佳的噪音函数以获得相应的最大的真振幅恢复能力。由此, 也期望此项技术能够得到正确的评价, 对它在应用上的局限性有一深入了解。
Abstract
In study ( 1 ) , it has been demonstrated with a group of explicit data that the actual signal amplitude can only be recovered within an extremly narrow range by means of a noise in uniform probability density distribution (i.e. in linear probability distribution). Apparently, such a noise is powerless for the seismic signal possessing a dynamic range up to 120db.This paper aims at finding an optimum probability density distribution function for the noise so that the maximum ability of the actual amplitude recovering can be achieved. Accordingly, a practical assessment for this approach is made, and it's limitation in applying is revealed.
