A DISCUSSION ON REAL AMPLITUDE RECOVERING OF 'SIGN BIT' SEISMIC ACQUISITION SYSTEM

符号位——作为一种随机过程信息已被应用于地震信号的接收。美国地球系统公司有产品投入生产,其基本理论已于SEG49届年会上发表。本文将对此基本理论略加补充并以明显的数据论证其应用的可能性和局限性,更以美国地球系统公司生产的符号位地震仪——GEOCORⅣ的建立和发展为例,评述该仪器的性能。最后提出如何在地震信号接收中正确应用符号位信息接收理论的设想。

Being a certain information pertaining to stochastic process, SIGN-BIT has been introduced into the field of seismic receiving. In America, SIGN-BIT seismic acquisition systems manufactured by GEOSYSTEM CORP. have been put into use. Its basic theory was presented at the 49th SEG International Annual Meeting.In this paper, some additional remarks are made and evident results are yielded in order to demonstrate the feasibility and limitation of the basic theory. The further assessment has been made on the performance of GEOCOR IV in view of its history evolved. Finally, some concepts related to the correct way of applying the SIGN-BIT receiving theory in seismic field are suggested.
