ON NEW WAYS OF FINDING OIL-Some Remarks on the Present Issue

随着油气勘探工作的深入,不少汕气勘探工作者都在关心如何扩大找油领域和寻找新的油气藏类型。在以构造观点作为指导找油的思路下,遇到了日益增大的难度。但与此同时,实践中也积累了不少新的经验,概括起来似乎应当包括以下几点:1.对于一个盆地的评价,不能仅考虑它的面积大小,而应把有无优越的生油条件放在首位。对于陆相沉积盆地来说,就是要研究它有无湖相沉积,特别是有无深湖相沉积。

The paper highlights the fact that at present stage of oil/gas exploration in China, quite a few areas attach importance to the guiding ideology, i.e. structure must be combined with sedimentary facies. And the seismic stratigraphy is widely used. As a consequence,much more fruitful geological informations ever produced are obtained. Moreover, it gives an impetus to a train of new ideas with regard to the discovery of oil. So long as unremitting efforts are made, the new ways for finding oil could be expected anyway.
