PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION OF DEPOSITIONAL SYSTEM OF FOSSIL DELTA OF THE PEARL RIVER BY SEISMIC STRATIGRAPHY

本文应用地震地层学方法,结合钻井、现代珠江水系、大陆架、海底地形地貌等资料,对珠江口盆地中部地震相几何参数、物理参数及其所处位置侧向关系等特征进行了综合解释,确定了晚渐新世中晚期—中中新世大型海洋古珠江复合三角洲沉积体系,并对其形成演化及找油前景作了初步分析。
By applying the seismic stratigraphy and integrating with the information of drilling, present Pearl River System, contenental sheff, submarine morphology etc. , an integrated interpretation is made on the geometric and physical parameters of seismic phase of middle Pearl River and its characteristics such as the lateral relation of where it is located etc. And the macro marine depositional system of compound delta of the fossil Pearl River ( the chronological time-scale of which is the mid-late stage of late Oligocene-middle Miocene epoch ) is defined. Furthermore, a preliminary examination is made on the evolution undergone and prospects for oil exploration.
