INVERSION OF FORMATIONAL VELOCITY FROM VSP DIRECT TRAVELTIMES

本文介绍了根据VSP初至走时反演地层速度的广义线性反演方法.其主要特点是同步地确定所有地层的速度解,即在确定某层速度值时,同时考虑了所有的初至走时.通过电算模型资料及实际观测资料的反演,可直观地显示出该方法的效果.文章还讨论了走时误差对反演结果的影响,这对设计最佳的VSP观测系统会有一定帮助.
This paper presents a generalized linear inversion, to inverse strata velocity from VSP direct traveltimes. Its main feature lies in that this approach can determine the velocity solution of all the formations synchronously, i.e. the velocity value of certain formation is obtained under the premise of taking all the direct traveltimes into account. Fromthe-result of inversion of the synthetic and real data, its effect could be visually displayed. Also, the effect of travel time errors on the result of inversion is discussed in the paper. Presumably, it is of much help to design the best layout.
