QUANTITATIVE MEASUREMENTS OF SONIC STRESS IN TRANSPARENT SOLIDS USING STRESS COMPENSATION TECHNIQUE

把静态光弹试验中的应力补偿法运用到动态光弹测试中,可以定量测定透明固体中任一点的声应力。本文介绍了定量测量的方法和原理,并且定量测定了脉冲纵波掠入射(玻璃平自由表面)及其反射横波的应力。
By applying the technique of compensating stress in static photoela-stics to the dynamic photoelastic experiments, we can measure the sonic stress quantitatively at any points in transparent solids. The technique presented in this paper and its concepts are expounded. Also, in the case of P-wave pulse grazing incident into the free surface of the optical glass, the stress of the incident P-wave and its reflected SV-wave are measured quantitatively.
